Excavation is the starting point for nearly every construction project. Before anything gets built, the ground has to be moved, shaped, and prepared. Mirage Excavation LLC provides professional excavation services for commercial and residential projects throughout San Tan Valley, the East Valley, and Central Arizona.
Whether you’re a general contractor breaking ground on a commercial building, a developer opening up a new site, or a homeowner preparing for an addition or a new structure, we bring the right equipment and the right crew to move your project forward.
What Our Excavation Services Include
Our excavation work covers the full scope of earthmoving and site preparation. That includes clearing and stripping sites to remove vegetation, topsoil, and debris before construction begins. We handle building pad excavation, creating level surfaces at the correct elevation for foundations and structures. For larger projects, we manage cut-and-fill operations, moving earth from high points to low points across a site to achieve proper grade.
We also take on rough site excavation for roads, parking areas, and drainage features, as well as material removal when rock, caliche, or other material needs to be hauled off site. Each project is different, and we approach every one with the same attention to spec and schedule.
Who We Work With
Most of our excavation work is for general contractors managing commercial construction projects. We’ve worked with GCs from across the state and out of state on projects ranging from commercial pads and quick-service restaurant builds to larger infrastructure work. We understand the pace and coordination that commercial projects demand, and we deliver accordingly.
We also work directly with property owners and developers on residential excavation. If you have a project that needs dirt moved, we’re happy to take a look and provide a free estimate.
Serving San Tan Valley and the East Valley
Mirage Excavation is based in San Tan Valley, and our excavation services extend throughout Queen Creek, Apache Junction, Gilbert, Mesa, Scottsdale, Cave Creek, Florence, and Casa Grande. We know the soil conditions, the terrain, and the local requirements that affect excavation work in this part of Arizona.
Related Services
Excavation projects often go hand in hand with other site work. Many of our clients also use our grading services to achieve final elevations after excavation is complete, our trenching services for underground utility preparation, and our shoring services when deep excavations require trench support. If your project involves multiple phases of earthwork, we can coordinate everything from a single crew to keep the job moving efficiently.
Frequently Asked Questions About Excavation
Q: How long does a typical excavation project take?
A: It depends on the size and scope of the project. A residential building pad might take a day or two, while a larger commercial site could take a week or more. We’ll give you a clear timeline during the estimate.
Q: Do you handle both commercial and residential excavation?
A: Yes. Most of our excavation work is commercial, but we take on residential projects as well. No matter the size, we bring the same equipment and attention to detail.
Q: What kind of equipment do you use?
A: We use a range of heavy equipment suited to the project at hand, including excavators, loaders, and hauling equipment. The specific machines we bring to a site depend on the scope of work and the conditions on the ground.
Q: Can you handle rocky or caliche-heavy ground?
A: Arizona soil can be tough, and we’re used to working in it. If the site has rock, caliche, or other hard material, we’ll assess it during the estimate and plan accordingly.
Q: Do you provide free estimates?
A: Yes. Every excavation project starts with a free estimate. We’ll come out to the site, review the plans, and give you a clear price before any work begins.
